Application Procedure  :  Please send a scholarship support statement which includes academic and personal achievements, why you wish to study at the Norwich Business School and University of East Anglia and any other information which you feel would promote yourself. The statement should be no more than 500 words and can be scanned and sent via email to scholarshipsnbs@uea.ac.uk, or faxed to +44 (0)1603 451999, addressed to NBS PG admissions.

 

Application Guideline    :

 
Applicants must hold a good honours degree which is at least equivalent to a UK upper second class degree.  They should also demonstrate an English language ability of IELTS 7.0 with a minimum 6.5 per component.  Applicants who apply before receiving their final degree classification may have this included in the scholarship terms and conditions. 

 

Please note that applicants who are unsuccessful for the Outstanding International Student Scholarship will be automatically considered for the Standard International Student Scholarship.

 

YOU MUST CLEARLY STATE YOUR FULL NAME AND STUDENT APPLICATION NUMBER ON YOUR SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT STATEMENT.

 

Successful applicants will be notified of the decision and any conditions of the scholarship award (e.g. degree classification) within 2-3 weeks of the deadline.  You will need to notify us of your acceptance of our scholarship offer within 2 weeks of receiving our decision. 

 

Please note that successful applicants will have the amount awarded deducted from their tuition fee, once they have registered for the course.

All international students (outside the EU) are able to be considered for a scholarship of between 10 and 50 per cent of tuition fees. Students should indicate on the application for admission that they wish to be considered for a UEA scholarship.
 
It is important to make an application as early as possible because they are considered as they are received. Scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of academic merit and are normally for the duration of the period of study - three years for Bachelor and PhD degrees and one year for Masters programmes. They are available from all Schools of Study and across most courses of study.

ORSAS helps outstanding postgraduate research students from outside the United Kingdom and EU to study in the UK by providing for some of the costs of their training and supervision. ORSAS awards provide funding to pay the difference, in most cases, between the international student tuition fees and the home /EU student tuition fees charged by the academic institution that the student is or will be attending.
